Merit Badge Opportunites

Personal Management Merit Badge

Counselors: Steve Parker and Will Donahoe

For all Star and Life Scouts: we will be offering the Personal Management MB over the next 3 months. This is an Eagle-required MB; interested scouts must obtain a blue card from the Scout Master as the first step. Then visit this site to review the requirements.

The first meeting will be at 6:45 PM on Monday, March 16th, prior to the weekly troop meeting. You must have requirement 1A, B and C. completed and presented at the meeting. Also, please determine a method to track your weekly budget and begin to do so this weekend.  We will review your budget tracking at our initial meeting. There will be 3 more meetings over the 3 month course of the MB counseling period. The majority of the work will be done on your own. Feel free to ask for assistance from your counselors and parents as you work through this project. Do not procrastinate; this MB requires time sequenced steps. We look forward to working with you on an important learning experience that you will use throughout your life. Get started now!

Citizenship in the Community

For all interested T654 Scouts, Assistant Scoutmasters Ed Perez and Ed Dalch will be offering the opportunity to pursue three merit badges over the fall and winter.  Mr. Perez is one of the T654 MB counselors for the Citizenship in the Nation and Citizenship in the Community merit badges. Mr. Dalch is a MB counselor for Citizenship in the World and Citizenship in the Nation.  These three are Eagle-required MBs.  See links below for information on the MB requirements.

These badges require such activities as visits, tours, and several requirements that call for sharing information with the counselor.
